On August 31, Liu Xiangrong, Deputy Chief Economist of China Railway Construction Port & Shipping Bureau Group Co., Ltd., led a delegation to Mine Investment Group for project negotiations. The two sides held a symposium to discuss strategic cooperation as well as investment, construction, and operation of related projects. Su Yu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group, and Yang Jiahong, Deputy General Manager, attended the meeting.

Lu Yu welcomed the visit of Liu Xiangrong and his delegation, and provided a brief overview of the Guijiang Jingnan Second-Line Ship Lock Project and the Guijiang Wangcun Second-Line Ship Lock Project. She emphasized that the Guijiang Ship Lock Projects are designated as key construction projects under the Ministry of Transport’s 14th Five-Year Plan for Water Transport Development, and have received high attention from the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal People’s Government, and the leadership of the Mining Investment Group. She noted that China Railway Construction Port & Shipping Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has assembled a comprehensive consortium with extensive project construction experience, and expressed the hope that the visiting party would gain a deeper understanding of the project scope and develop a comprehensive investment proposal, thereby laying the foundation for substantive cooperation between the two sides.

Liu Xiangrong expressed sincere gratitude for the meeting with the Mining Investment Group and provided an overview of the Port & Shipping Bureau Group’s business areas, development direction, achievements, and the proposed cooperation plan for the Guijiang River Capacity Expansion Project. He stated that China Railway Construction Port & Shipping Bureau Group is highly confident in future collaborative project development between the two parties and hopes that a dedicated task force will be established to facilitate targeted coordination, conduct in-depth discussions on cooperation models, accelerate project investment and operations, and thereby expedite project implementation and deliver tangible results.
