Action Learning Enters Party Branches: Pooling Wisdom and Efforts to Overcome Difficulties—Mining Investment Group Hosts a Special Training Session on Action Learning
To advance the Group’s “Five Foundations and Three Transformations” campaign and further enhance the problem-solving capabilities of Party members and cadres, on July 14 the Group Party Committee invited Li Hongbo, an associate professor at the Municipal Party School and president of the Municipal Action Learning Research Association, to deliver a specialized action-learning training session at the Group. Secretaries of all Party branches, branch committee members, and Party member representatives attended the training.

Li Hongbo provided participants with a conceptual introduction to action learning by exploring its essential nature, systemic thinking methodologies, and practical implementation. He then offered a detailed overview of the key value of action learning and the common challenges encountered in workshops, thoroughly yet accessibly elucidating the approach’s significance, scientific rigor, and practical applicability.

During the learning process, under the guidance of Teacher Li Hongbo, participants in each group conducted in-depth discussions in four stages, employing action-learning tools such as brainstorming, group ideation, knowledge mapping, and mind mapping. Over the course of one hour, through vigorous exchange of ideas and collaborative problem-solving, they engaged in lively debates on six key topics, including how to cultivate an outstanding corporate culture and how to leverage Party building to enhance corporate governance capabilities. Their deliberations yielded fresh insights and innovative approaches to addressing these challenges, creating a highly dynamic and engaging atmosphere on site.

Through this training, Party members and cadres have gained a comprehensive and systematic understanding of action learning and have also acquired a preliminary grasp of its methods and tools. Participants unanimously expressed their commitment to actively applying the “action learning approach” in their future work to address the key and challenging issues in integrating Party building with business operations, thereby fully promoting the seamless integration of Party building with departmental business functions across the Group and making positive contributions to the Group’s high-quality development.
